A dozen middle-school youth are meeting weekly as part of 4-H this spring to learn new skills in media production. Using IMovie and handheld digital movie cameras, they are creating commercials, making their own original movies, and interviewing community members around town.
This project is supported with help from WSU Wahkiakum County Extension, Wahkiakum Community Network, and Connie Christopher, Cathlamet libarian.
See some of their latest productions below. More will be posted soon!

Town and County Commissioner Interviews
The 4-H Video Tech Club interviewed people around town, including county commissioner candidates, about what they like about living here, and what they would do if they were county commissioner. They also asked a few people what they thought about 4-H in our community.

Our First Movie
Four youth in Wahkiakum County successfully created digital photos and movies as part of this week's 4-H digital photography camp. The youth filmed and edited their own first movie, "Haunted School." The youth decided to create their own 4-H tech club, and will post local news and their own photos and movies on this website. Thank you to Heather, photography instructor; Staisha, Americorps member and helper; Carrie, 4-H agent; and Judy and Norm at the Grays River Grange Computer Center, for their help and support.
